Seva

Seva is selfless service offered to God and the Guru, performed as a pure offering, without attachment to the results of one’s actions and without desire for personal gain. Performing seva is a way to cultivate the steady awareness of your union with the Self, the divine Consciousness within, even while engaging in action.

You are invited to participate in the practice of seva, which is one of the core Siddha Yoga practices. Some people offer seva in areas in which they have skills while others offer seva in areas that require them to cultivate new abilities. On the Siddha Yoga path, every seva is considered equally important.

We have several opportunities to offer seva at the center including hall duty, amrit and music volunteers.

If you wish to offer seva, you may call (305) 446-2020 and ask for Judith or Phyllis.
